It’s been a year since I had a photo session with Sandra in the stunning landscape of Stokksnes, Iceland — and I’m still in awe of the experience and the photos she captured.

I honestly had such a lovely time shooting with dear Sandra. She made me feel super comfortable and kept the whole vibe fun and relaxed. It never felt weird, even for someone like me who never was photographed before, just easy and enjoyable, and I really love how everything turned out. Looking back to our photos I contemplate myself as a delicate bride, a happy mom to be in our gender reveal and maternity autumn session and I see all our closest people welcoming new life in the christening of our little girl. Sandra is simply incredible! She photographed me during a horseback photoshoot, did a wonderful session with my dog, and later captured our wedding. Every single time, she completely exceeded my expectations. She has an amazing ability to show both people and animals in their full beauty and to bring out the magic of Icelandic nature, no matter the conditions. Whether it was rain at the wedding, too much light during the horseback shoot, or an energetic dog in front of the camera, every photo turned out absolutely stunning.

We honestly didn’t know what to expect, because we’re usually so awkward in front of the camera — but Sandra made everything feel like an adventure. Instead of stiff poses, we were laughing, exploring, and just being ourselves while she captured it all in the most stunning Icelandic landscapes. Looking at the photos, we couldn’t believe it… they feel like little pieces of our love story, magical and so real at the same time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Sandra, we got the best pictures and were given clear directions and she did nothing but deliver!
